“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
— Matthew 6:10 · NIV
It's a short sentence and an enormous surrender. Your will — which means, some days, not mine. Praying this honestly will cost you something before breakfast. But it also relieves you of a job you were never qualified for: running the universe. Hand it back this morning. Somebody better is already doing it.
Father, Your kingdom, Your will — in my day, in my house, in me.
