Somebody once greeted a stranger with "Happy Friday" and got told it was Tuesday. His answer was the whole gospel in one line: every day is a good day — so make it a Friday. Good Friday is the day Jesus died. Happy Friday is the day we live. Whatever the calendar says, that's what today is. Go and tell someone.

Father, thank You for this day. Let me hand the joy of it to someone else before dark.
