How to actually do it

Say it to the person at the till. Say it to the guy guarding your car. Say it on a Tuesday, especially on a Tuesday.

They will correct you. “It’s not Friday.” That’s not the awkward part — that’s the door opening.

Then you get to say the only line you need: “Every day is a good day. So make it a Friday.”

That’s it. That’s the whole movement. Four seconds, and somebody’s day just changed shape.
